Committed to treating our customers fairly

Treating our customers fairly and the delivery of the best service have always been at the heart of how we do business.  To achieve this we have a management and support team to ensure you get the best service.

You may have read about Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in the press. It’s not a new concept to us as we have always strived to be fair and clear in our dealings with customers. Our regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has put more focus on Independent Financial Advisers demonstrating how they are treating customers fairly.

You can be confident that you are dealing with a firm where the fair treatment of customers is central to our corporate culture.

Worldwide’s Commitment to you:

“Products and services delivered to you are appropriate to meet your needs and circumstances”

“You are provided with clear information and are kept informed before, during and after the advice”

“You are provided with clear information about the products and service we offer, including fees and charges”

“We will ascertain your individual needs, preferences and circumstances before making a recommendation and only recommend products and services that we consider suitable for you”

“We will encourage you to ask questions if there’s something you don’t understand”

“We will make sure you do not face unreasonable post advice barriers to change a product, switch provider, submit a claim or make a complaint”

Fee Based Advice

Fee based financial planning means truly independent financial advice. Our service gives you access to whole of market solutions. This means a better deal for you and your finances.

We are proud to say we have a committed, experienced team of managers and support people. Without this team we could not offer the high levels of service that our customers require and ultimately receive.

Peter McGahan
Chief Executive Officer

Location Ireland

Peter has over 33 years in Financial services. When buying his first home at age 19, Peter was confused by the advice given to him, and immediately looked to that as a career.

He was a manager at Albany Life for eight years before setting up Worldwide financial Planning in 1998, despondent at the restrictions placed upon him whilst not being able to offer Independent financial advice.

Peter has written for FT Business and other financial press as well as consumer columns for over 20 years.

He was voted media IFA of the year alongside Tom McPhail of Hargreaves Lansdowne because of his forthright style and healthy cynicism of financial products.

Today, Peter works with the Investment research team, oversees the marketing and as CEO, sits on the board with Trish Rogan and Matthew Dewhurst.
