The Vine of Wadebridge are a fast-growing success!

Huge congratulations to our near neighbours, Wadebridge-based greengrocers The Vine, for winning the Best New Business category at this year’s Cornwall Business Awards.

Having sponsored the award category it was great for it to go to such a dynamic new business.

Worldwide director, Neil Chamberlain, joined a host of leading figures including the Eden Project’s Tim Smit, former England rugby captain and World Cup winner, Phil Vickery MBE, on the judging panel.

Neil said: “The team at The Vine displayed exactly what it is to be a successful new business.

“They planned, strategized, took risks, looked ahead and diversified.

“The idea to create a mobile greengrocers was inspired, while the level of customer care is excellent.

“This was a hard fought category, but The Vine had the edge.”
