A beach in North Cornwall is cleaner thanks to the efforts of an award-winning firm of independent financial advisers.
Staff and families of Truro and Wadebridge based Worldwide Financial Planning managed to avoid the rain and spent a day helping Cornwall Wildlife Trust (CWT) with a beach clean at Porthtowan.

The event, organized by CWT and held in association with Beach Care for Keep Britain Tidy and CoaST (the Cornwall Sustainable Tourism project), was an opportunity for the Trust’s businesses supporters to get back to nature.

Worldwide’s managing director, Peter McGahan, who sponsors the Trust was joined by his daughters Aoife 5, Orla, 9, and Riona, 11.

Riona said: “We really enjoyed the day at the beach with everyone from Dad’s company. We learnt a lot from the wildlife experts and got to collect things like Mermaid’s purses, as well as some really bright shells.  “It was fun to play with our friends and find out things about beach life.
