Two types of self build mortgages?

For instance advance or ‘accelerator’ self build mortgages are sometimes promoted over an arrears- style mortgage because they potentially allow you to borrow more money.

Whilst it is true in some instances, it is not always the case, and can be more expensive with very hefty insurance premiums hidden into the total cost. Be very careful of these and ensure you know what all hidden costs are.
