Hot on the heels of being signed up as a columnist for the Financial Times, a Cornish independent financial adviser will give money tips out via a national television website.
Worldwide Financial Planning’s managing director, Peter McGahan, is giving financial advice to visitors to the Channel 4 website.
He was asked to provide details on the financial markets after becoming a regular tipster in the national press.
“It’s great to have been asked by Channel 4 to provide information on finance for their website,” said Peter.
“With the credit crunch, Northern Rock and lenders putting tighter restrictions in place on mortgages, people want to know what’s going on, so the more places we can get our advice out to people the better.
“Over the 10 years since I started the business I have worked hard to get the message out about financial planning.
“There is lots of unnecessary noise out there which can lead you to making bad decisions. We are picked to write because we break through that noise; indeed readers of our past columns will see that we predicted what is happening in the current climate, so people who’ve chosen to take that advice will be much better off today.”
